Phnom Penh City Hall held a public forum

Phnom Penh City Hall held a public forum on Tuesday to address the grievances of families whose homes were bulldozed to make room for residential development projects. Some 185 displaced residents of the capital’s Borei Keila community, and 40 participants from six other communities, were invited to participate in the public dialogue. Some of the evicted residents presented documents verifying their former occupancy, while others elaborated on the living conditions of families who still have not received the relocation housing promised by the government.
