Three women were sent to the Phnom Penh Municipal Court yesterday after allegedly bringing under-age girls to a hotel to have sex with men.

Municipal anti-human trafficking police chief Keo Thea said the three were arrested in Phnom Penh on Saturday.

He said that under questioning, one of the women admitted bringing her under-age daughter to have sex in the hotel.

Police arrested them near the hotel where they had brought the girls. Mr Thea said this was a form of human trafficking.

He said police had rescued three girls and sent them to the city’s social affairs department for rehabilitation.
