Smart and OPPO in partnership

Smart Axiata, a subsidiary of a Malaysia-based Axiata Group and a leading mobile operator in Cambodia, yesterday reached a partnership agreement with OPPO Electronics Corp – a Chinese electronics manufacturer based in Guangdong – to bring smartphones with high-end cameras to more Cambodians through affordable deals.
Under the agreement, Smart will offer OPPO devices bundled with the company’s 4G service packages.
“From today, any OPPO device sold by Smart and other authorised resellers or retailers will come with a Smart SIM and OPPO’s Selfie Expert F3 camera,” Thomas Hundt, Smart CEO, said in a statement.
Mr Hundt said this latest device partnership which Smart entered into “promises to offer consumers a perfect combination”.
“OPPO is offering a wide range of mobile devices with a special focus on photography. This is a perfect collaboration to share all selfies and photos taken using Smart’s 4G LTE.
“Certainly, I am sure our customers will love the bundles Smart is going to offer, giving lots of data and unlimited talk time for weeks on end to every OPPO device customer.”
The dual-selfie camera setup on the OPPO F3 has one 16-megapixel 1.3-inch sensor with f/2.0 aperture, and double view wide-angle camera that has an 8-megapixel sensor. The Oppo F3 comes with various camera features, including the Beautify 4.0 app, Selfie Panorama, Screen Flash, and Palm Shutter.
“At Smart, we strive to ensure all our customers get the most out of their devices, on Smart’s ever-expanding network, award-winning, fastest and widest mobile Internet network,” said Mr Hundt.
