Two killed by lightning

Camerman Moeun Vanna died at work.

Two men were killed by lightning on Wednesday evening. A cameraman was struck on Phnom Baseth in Prek Pnov’s Ponhea Pon commune while he was filming a movie. He was pronounced dead at a hospital in Phnom Penh.
 
The victim was identified by family and friends on Facebook as Moeun Vanna, a freelance cameraman who had been shooting a film for Town Productions.
 
Lightning also killed a farmer who was sowing rice crops in Pursat province.
 
Bakan district police said the area had already been hit by gales and thunderstorms when Prum Sim, 57, was struck down in Boeung Bot Kandal commune.
