A teenager accused of firing a volley of gunshots during a fight in Banteay Meanchey province early last month has finally been arrested.
Bang Ving, 17, had been on the run since April 7 but was tracked down by military police in O’Chrov district.
Police said he fired nine shots after an argument with another youth in Nimith commune. Nobody was hurt.
Eng Hy, spokesman for the National Military Police, said Mr Ving was being held for questioning. He said he was confident the man who supplied the gun would be arrested, as well as others involved in the case.
