Four French Companies have received the first 2016 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) awards in areas of economic governance, environment and social impact.

Exotissimo, Total Cambodge, Confirel and Endorphine Concept were recognized for their outstanding contribution to Cambodia, in a program run by the French embassy and the Council for the Development of Cambodia. Council secretary-general Sok Chenda Sophea said: “Providing such awards makes other companies aware of taking care and of sustainable development. It is good for our country and our economy.”

Christophe Forsinetti, president of the French Foreign Trade Advisers of Cambodia, said: “French companies in Cambodia recognize that it is important to do their part in improving social, ethical, labor and environmental conditions as well as supporting good governance at all levels.

“They have helped provide equal opportunities to all Cambodians.”
