The Prime Minister of Bangladesh will visit Cambodia next week to sign a number of cooperative deals with the government, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs yesterday.
Sheikh Hasina’s official visit will run from Sunday to Tuesday.
While in Cambodia she will be granted an audience by King Norodom Sihamoni and make courtesy calls on Senate President Say Chhum and National Assembly President Heng Samrin.
She will also hold talks with Prime Minister Hun Sen, visit Tuol Sleng genocide museum, and attend a business dialogue hosted by the Cambodian Chamber of Commerce.
“The two Prime Ministers will preside over the signing of a number of cooperative documents to be followed by a joint press announcement,” said the statement.
Ms Hasina first visited Cambodia in 2001 for the Association of Asian Parliaments for Peace conference.
