NagaWorld midfielder Sos Suhana struck twice against his former employers in Wednesday’s 2-1 first leg Hun Sen Cup quarter-final win against Phnom Penh Crown.
A defensive error let in Suhana in the 20th minute to open the scoring before teen prodigy Brak Thiva levelled matters with a 30-yard strike midway through the second period. However, Suhana was not yet done, as he bounded up the pitch to bury the winner in the 88th minute, albeit thanks to a generous helping hand from the bumpy Olympic Stadium pitch which had left Crown keeper Keo Soksela stranded.
The second leg will be played on November 22.
Domestic action goes on hiatus as the Cambodian national side will be entertaining both Myanmar and Jordan in coming weeks.
