Mr Sok said Capt Piseth, who was arrested in Choumrok village in Preah Sdach district, often brought drugs to sell to users in the province.

“He was arrested after he brought drugs to sell to undercover police,” he said.

Police seized the packages of crystal methamphetamine after his arrest. He returned a positive result in a urine test for drugs.

Capt Piseth was being detaining last night by provincial military police and is due to be sent to the provincial court for questioning today.
