A second of five inmates who broke out of Ratanakkiri Provincial Prison last week has been captured and sent back to jail.
Som Hak, 21, was charged yesterday over the escape by the provincial court prosecutor.
He faces an extra one or two years in jail in addition to his sentence.
The five escaped after using a saw blade to cut through bars. One was caught soon afterwards hiding in the forest.
Prison chief Tin Sovanny said they got the blade from friends who had visited them and had hidden it in their shoes.
Provincial police chief Nuon Koeun said his officers were working hard to re-arrest the other prisoners, Nong Vanna, Keo Chanthy and Keo Chhork.
All were serving three-year terms for drug trafficking.
