The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Phnom Penh hosted National Day and the 20th anniversary of the re-establishment of Cambodia-Korea diplomatic relations last week at the InterContinental Phnom Penh. The reception was attended by many VIP guests such as ambassadors and Prak Sokhonn, Senior Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. Kim Won Jin, the Ambassador of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, said 18 direct flights now connect the two countries every week, showing the scale of the expanding people-to-people exchanges. A total of 400,000 Korean tourists visit Cambodia every year.
