Singapore Foreign Minister to visit Cambodia

The Foreign Affairs Minister of Singapore, Vivian Balakrishnan, will pay an official visit to Cambodia next week.

According to a statement from the Foreign Affairs Ministry on Friday, Mr Balakrishnan will a lead delegation to pay an official visit from October 17 to 18.

He will be received in a royal audience by his majesty King Norodom Sihamoni and also pay a courtesy call on Prime Minister Hun and hold official talks with Foreign Affairs Minister Prak Sokhonn.

The statement added that both sides will sign a Memorandum of Understanding on political consultations.

“The official visit of Dr Vivian Balakrishnan to Cambodia will bolster both countries’ commitment to promote the excellent relations of friendship and close cooperation in both bilateral and regional frameworks,” read the statement.
