Research fellowships in South Korea

The 2018 AKS Fellowship Programme for Korean Studies, initiated by the Academy of Korean Studies, is opening applications to all foreign scholars, doctoral applicants, and professional researchers in the humanities and social sciences to undertake their dissertation research in Korea for a minimum of one month to maximum of one year.

EU/ASEAN scholarships

Application deadline: Nov. 10


The European Union (EU) in cooperation with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) is calling for outstanding undergraduate students from all 10 ASEAN nations to apply for the fourth batch of SHARE scholarships to study at ASEAN or EU universities for one semester from December 2017 to August 2018.

American University undergrad programme

To promote educational access and opportunities while enhancing international diversity, the American University (AU) Emerging Global Leader Scholarship is opening applications to all international students who wish to pursue a four-year undergraduate programme at AU. Applicants will be judged based on their academic merits.

Online business course

Course starts: Feb. 28, 2018


“Business Analytics for Data-Driven Decision Making,” a free, eight-week online course is offered by Boston University to students from all countries to learn how to lead a firm and make better business decisions by using analytic methods. They will also learn to create competitive advantages using data based on methods from both the Digital Leadership and Digital Product Management Micro Masters programmes.

Graduate fellowships in Hawaii

The East-West Center is offering fully-funded fellowships to graduate students from Asia, the Pacific, and the US to pursue master’s and doctoral degree programmes at the University of Hawaii at Manoa (UHM) with the main purpose of constructing a sense of Asia-Pacific community and preparing for future leadership roles.

Citizens of Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, and the Philippines are invited to take part in the six-day exclusive ASEAN Camp 2017 Business Challenge in Thailand by applying in teams of two by creating a three-minute video clip featuring an introduction of the team, your reasons for wanting to join the camp, and describing the products you would like PTT to sell in your country.
