Three women and a man were arrested on Wednesday by anti-drug police in connection with the trafficking of more than three kilos of crystal methamphetamine in Phnom Penh.
Kong Sarith, of the Interior Ministry anti-drug police, said the suspects were arrested late at night when police from his department and local police raided a house in 7 Makara district’s Veal Vong commune.
“They were caught red-handed while they were selling drugs to undercover police in front of the house,” he said.
After their arrest, police seized six packages of crystal methamphetamine weighing more than three kilos, a drug scale and other drug-related material.
He did not release the names of the suspects because they were still being questioned.
