Angkor Premium Beer celebrates spirit of the SEA Games medalists

Angkor Premium Beer celebrated the country’s victory at the recently concluded Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in Kuala Lumpur with a prize-giving ceremony for the winning athletes. With 17 medals comprising three gold, two silver and 12 bronze medals pocketed by the country, this year’s achievement was a great improvement from the 2015 SEA Games in Singapore where Cambodia bagged one gold, five silver and nine bronze medals. Speaking at the ceremony, Ong Kee Kong, sales director of Cambrew Ltd, paid tribute to the  SEA Games athletes. “Together with the rest of the nation, we are extremely proud of your achievements in the 29th SEA Games, and are honoured to be your strongest supporter. “Most importantly, thank you for doing your best in bringing home glory. You have shown to the world that nothing compares to the fiery passion of a Besdong Khmer when it comes to making the nation proud.” As part of its partnership with the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia, Angkor Premium Beer awarded $6000, $3000 and $1000 to individual gold, silver and bronze medalists respectively. Athletes who participated in team events received $8000, $5000 and $3000 for Gold, silver and bronze as a group.
