ASEAN CSR Fellowships
Application deadline: Dec. 1
Citizens from the 10 Asean member states are invited to apply for the Asean CSR Fellowships, which were established with the purpose of building human resources for responsible businesses in Southeast Asia and providing knowledge to address key regional issues such as anti-corruption, environmental degradation and human rights for the private sector. Fellowships can be conducted in Singapore, Indonesia, Myanmar and the Philippines.
Free online course for developing research projects
Course starts: Sept. 11
The University of Southampton is launching a free, eight-week online course, “Developing Your Research Project,” for students who wish to carry out academic research. Every step of the research process is covered, from developing a hypothesis and finding sources to writing up and presenting one’s findings.
Nitori International Scholarship

Scholarships for privately financed students

The NEC C&C Foundation is providing grants to non-Japanese doctoral candidates to undertake research at Saitama University in Japan for the academic year 2018, in the fields of information-processing technologies, communications technologies, electronic-device technologies or related technologies.
ASEAN Impact Challenge
Application deadline: Sept. 9
Applications are being accepted for the Asean Impact Challenge, a regional programme designed to discover innovators from Southeast Asia who can contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. Applications must be submitted on behalf of a team. The theme is “Inclusive Innovations for Asean.” The top 5 teams will be selected to join the regional finals of the competition.
DMC Information Session

The Department of Media and Communications at the Royal University of Phnom Penh is hosting the 2nd DMC Information Day session to provide scholarship information to Cambodian students interested in media and professional communications. Information will also be provided on how to become a professional and ethical media practitioner in Cambodia.
