“Any customer ordering the Meizu Pro 7 will have six months of free calls from Cellcard,” said Saing Sur Haro, marketing and sales manager of Camfone.
“We have noticed that many of our customers are young people and they prefer the latest technology when it comes to smartphones,” he added.
“For that reason we have chosen to import the Meizu Pro-7 and have also chosen Cellcard as the mobile carrier to launch it.”
Mr Haro said the smartphone market was competitive, with consumers constantly demanding latest models.
Both the Meizu Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus feature an AMOLED rear display, the first time that Meizu has released dual screen technology. This enables users to manage various functions whilst the phone is face down on their desks.
“We believed that Meizu will take over the market due to its latest featured technology,” Mr Haro said.
The Meizu Pro 7 comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Available in a range of colours, the Pro 7 is available in black, gold and red.
Laszlo Barta, Chief Commercial Officer at Cellcard, said the pre-order launch of Meizu Pro 7 was a marketing strategy to provide affordable mobile devices for Cambodians.
“At the same time, they will be able to enjoy fast internet provided by Cellcard,” he said.
