The Public Works and Transport Ministry has received construction vehicles and light vehicles from a Chinese firm which is part of a $1 million aid package.
After the handover ceremony on Friday, Public Works Minister Sun Chanthol said the Henan Transport Investment Group gave four pickups, four sets of road vibrators and cutters, four maintenance trucks, an asphalt truck and other equipment.

He added that the ministry distributed the vehicles and machinery to the Machinery Department, Maintenance Department and four provincial departments to repair roads.
Mr. Chanthol also asked the Chinese firm to grant 21 more sets of machinery for the provincial departments of the ministry.
He added that the vehicles and equipment were worth about $1 million. China has provided about $2 billion in loans to Cambodia since 2004 for infrastructure construction which includes roads and bridges.
Cheng Risheng, the Chairman of Henan Transport Investment Group, said this aid will help to support infrastructure development in Cambodia.
