Cambodia has announced that all casinos in the country will be allowed to resume operations, but only with gambling and slot machines.
This announcement comes after three months of closures since April 1, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The announcement was made by Prime Minister Hun Senwhile chairing the weekly cabinet meeting held at the Peace Palace this morning.
Phay Siphan, Minister Attached to the Prime Minister and Chairman of the Royal Government Spokesperson Unit made this known to the public on his official Facebook page.
All casinos are required to obtain permission from the Ministry of Health along with some requirements on COVID-19 preventive measures, he added.
