Most girls want bright white skin, but really doesn’t matter, as long as your skin looks healthy, Ms Soly said.

On the topic of acne, she said everyone has it, because it is caused by hormones. We can minim this problem by consuming less oily food, exercising or doing other things to ensure good blood circulation.

Ms Soly issued a warning to all the girls out there: If you want to use cosmetics, you should go to a medically qualified skin care professional for a check up first. Do not just use random products. Ms Soly urged people not just to go blindly along with what their friends recommend when it comes to cosmetics, because different people have different skin types.

Here are three foundation tips for women out there.

Use homemade ingredients

If you do not want to use a mask for your face, then cucumbers, aloe vera, milk or sweet potatoes are recommended for use on your face anytime.

However, for those who have sensitive skin or skin that easily turns red, try using fresh orange slices for 15 minutes or half an hour. After that, wash your face with water. If you have access to toner, using that to wash your face would be great, Ms Soly added.

Eat healthily

Generally, being healthy is the most essential factor in having good skin. As an example, Ms Soly’s family discourages her from eating out a lot because it is not clean and such foods often contain a lot of calories.

Try to avoid unhealthy food or poorly prepared street food. Home-cooked meals are preferable because they are clean and hygienic.

As we know, no one can completely avoid fast foods like hamburgers and pizza, but try to eat them sparingly. Vegetables, fruits and fresh juices are the best choices for daily meals, Ms Soly said.

Choose the right products

Before using any cosmetic product, you should determine the ingredients and whether they are appropriate for your skin type. If you are certain of your skin type, you’ll be better able to choose the right products that won’t harm your skin.

Protecting your skin from the sun’s UV rays is also essential. As women’s skin is thinner than men’s skin, sunlight can easily damage of skin. Do not use random products in response to promotions. Remember to find a skin expert to advise you on the right cosmetics, Ms Soly suggested.
