Wing’s latest technology will support members of the Techo Startup Center as they build the next generation for Cambodia’s digital economy.
Wing (Cambodia) Limited Specialised Bank and the Techo Startup Center are now working together to foster the growth of startups and small and medium-sized enterprises in Cambodia.
The Techo Startup Center was founded in April 2018 with the goal of helping the country develop a full-fledged digital economy.
Now, in this tech-driven partnership with Wing, the Techo Startup Center and its members can make use of the cutting-edge digital payment platform to find new opportunities for innovation.
“This partnership reflects our commitment towards developing digital payment foundation for the advancement of Cambodia’s digital startups,” said Dr.
Nguonly Taing, Executive Director of the Techo Startup Center. “Our startup members will also be able to connect and learn from an innovative company such as Wing and reap the benefit from technical expertise, advice as well as digital payment solutions of Wing.”
The Techo Startup Center was launched to support entrepreneurs and build on official plans to transform and diversify the economy.
Designed to form a bridge between entrepreneurs and other relevant stakeholders, the center is geared to provide its members with the tools they need to help the country adapt to new technological trends and access to new innovation.
“We are delighted that we can use our know-how and our products to support the Techo Startup Center in its vision of nurturing startups to grow into successful businesses,” said Manu Rajan, CEO of Wing.
“We hope through this partnership Wing will be able to do more to help Cambodian tech entrepreneurs adapt to the revolution of Industry 4.0.”
Both Wing and the Techo Startup Center already shared a common goal of using the latest technology to advance Cambodia’s economy and improve the daily lives of its people.
Wing is known for its omnipresent network of more than 7,500 Wing Cash Xpress Agents across the country, as well as for the Wing Money App, a digital mobile payment app with multi features relevant to everyone’s daily lives.
Meanwhile, the Techo Startup Center aims to provide the acceleration and mentoring services, all of which are structured with startups and small and medium-sized enterprises in mind.
