NagaWorld Kind Hearts supports Cambodia’s fight against COVID-19

Education Minister H.E. Dr. Hang Chuon Naron: “We wish to thank NagaWorld for their generous support during this global health crisis."

NagaWorld Kind Hearts, the corporate social responsibility arm of NagaWorld, stepped up to donate a total of 10,000 face masks, 1,000 bottles of hand sanitiser and 180 litres of sanitising alcohol to the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport in support of efforts by the government as the nation rallies to combat the spread of COVID-19 in Cambodia.

NagaWorld’s Managing Director Mr. Pern Chen said, “These unprecedented times have affected Cambodian families and local communities. Currently with their livelihoods affected, many may not be able to sustain the purchase of personal protective equipment. We hope to assist the government’s call to action, by donating these supplies to help combat the spread of COVID-19.”

Face masks, sanitising alcohol and hand sanitiser donated by NagaWorld Kind Hearts will help keep communities safe from COVID-19 in Cambodia.

“With these supplies, the Ministry will be able to help many more communities in need,” he added.

Education Minister His Excellency Dr. Hang Chuon Naron received the delivery in person from Mr. Pern Chen outside the Ministry. “This thoughtful initiative by NagaWorld is of great help to the Ministry as well as community members in keeping ourselves protected from COVID-19,” he said. “We wish to thank NagaWorld for their generous support in promoting good health and hygiene practices during this global health crisis. We would like to present a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of their gracious gifts.”
