The Minister of Education, Hang Chuon Naron has encouraged students to continue studies online through e-learning platform, which is a perfect opportunity to use one’s spare time to learn something new! Good news is that students can be admitted to this course! Professionals who want to acquire new knowledge, switch career path, or simply for the pleasure of learning, are also welcome to enroll.
Courses called MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) are available to anyone who have access to a computer and internet connection. All courses are delivered online and accessible to all for free.
Some courses can be started according to your availability, whereas some start at regular intervals scheduled every few weeks or months. With the variety of courses such as art, business or computer science you will be able to find self-paced courses which enables you to go at your own rhythm. Divided into multiple fragments, the courses help student to see progression through giving assessments with deadlines as if you were in university. For the duration of the course, it can vary between two to 12 weeks without any application fee for free courses.
In addition, if you finish a MOOCs course with passing grades, receiving a certificate for completion will be just reward, accordingly to the courses. Sometimes certificates can be free or with a fee. This can be a great way to prove your ability into a particular sector and also to show you have attended online courses from top universities.
