Senior Minister Ly Thuch leads aid assistance to Svay Rieng

A delegation led by His Excellency Ly Thuch has been presently serving as a Senior Minister and Vice President/Secretary General of the Cambodian Mine Action and Victim Assistance Authority (CMAA) led a team of donors to Svay Rieng’s Rumdoul district to provide aid for needy.

The aid included five tonnes of rice, 1500 scarves, 2160 boxes of soap, posters on protection against COVID-19 and self hygiene and cash of almost $6,600.

Mr Ly Thuch said “We embarked on this aid journey as the people in the district are poor and we wanted to help educate them on ways oy keeping themselves clean via simple to understand posters.

“We do what we can as Cambodians to help fellow Khmers who need assistance in this difficult times. If more donors provide such material or cash aid, we will embark on further missions, selecting the most needy,” he said.
