Cambodia’s economic development is moving full steam ahead propelled by a building boom that promises to continue well into the future, even amid an escalating health crisis brought by the coronavirus outbreak.
Huge and important property developments continuously rise in Phnom Penh, Sihanoukville, Siem Reap and other cities – something which a few years ago, was simply unthinkable.
Among these is The Palms, a brand-new development in the heart of the capital that combines luxurious living, convenience and a touch of nature.
Aptly called an “organic development,” The Palms sits on prime land overlooking the Mekong River, a majestic body of water that runs through Phnom Penh and surrounding areas.
The Palms features more than 200 cluster homes and luxury villas that give residents picture-perfect views of the river, while sitting between greeneries and a grove of palm trees. It blends perfectly with nature thus affording the occupants with a tranquil atmosphere that serves as an escape from the noise and bustle of the city.
The resort villas, which occupy a floor area of between 377 sqm and 1086 sqm, combine elegant exteriors and well-appointed interiors found nowhere else in the capital. The villas offer high-end living at its best.
Aside from the exclusive living space, the residents are also granted access to a wide variety of amenities, including an artificial beach, a swimming pool, one-of-a-kind hydrotherapy pools, a water playground and a barbecue area.
Those in need of relaxation after a busy day at work can take a leisurely walk along the Mekong boardwalk, located just a few steps from their abodes.
Khan Meanchey, which hosts the project, is a major commercial centre where restaurants, hotels, entertainment joints, sports clubs, transportation hubs, tourism sites, markets, shopping centres, banks and other conveniences are located.
Less than 30 minutes away from the compound are the Phnom Penh International Airport, Phnom Penh Railway Station and Aeon Mall 1 and 2. Aeon Mall 3, which will be Cambodia largest shopping destination
Started two years ago, the project is expected to be completed by the end of the year under the supervision of Oxley WorldBridge, one of the leading property developers in the Kingdom.
Oxley WorldBridge is a partnership between Singapore’s Oxley Holdings Limited and Cambodia’s WorldBridge Land.
The Palms marks the consortium’s third project in Cambodia, preceded by its successful development of The Peak and The Bridge, two equally-outstanding properties on their way to becoming landmarks of the capital.
The Palms is located along National Road 1 in the capital’s Kdei Takoy village, Sangkat Veal Sbov in Khan Meanchey district.
