The number of COVID-19 infected victims who have undergoing treatment at various hospitals, has increased with four more being discharged from hospital Wednesday.
The Health Ministry said that out of the four men, three were from the capital city, aged 71, 38 and 33 and a fourth was a 52-year-old in Thbong Khmum province.
They were confirmed to have recovered after being tested negative twice consecutively.
Earlier, one Chinese male, one British female, six Cambodians, two in Battambang, two in Thbong Khmum and two in Phnom Penh were also tested negative twice consecutively and released.
The recovery brings hope that amid the increasing numbers of infections, the retroviral drugs being used to treat patients has thus been effective.
