Cambodia steps up COVID-19 awareness campaign as infected numbers rise to 91

“Thank you to., all government officials, lawmakers and the authorities at all levels for conducting awareness raising activities on COVID-19 and the preventive measures against the pandemic across the country,” said Prime Minister Hun Sen, in a message on his official Facebook page Tuesday evening to boost the morale of all Cambodians and foreigners in the country.

The Premier expressed his profound thanks to the authorities at all levels for their efforts in raising public awareness on preventive measures against COVID-19 pandemic in the Kingdom.

Cambodia has so far reported 91 COVID-19 confirmed cases, including 35 Cambodians, 34 French, 12 Malaysians, five British, two Americans, one Canadian, one Belgian, one Chinese.

Six of them have recovered and there would possibly some more recovered cases since they have tested negative many times.
