Cambodia is among one of the 40 countries who have resorted to using a quick testing technology for the novel coronavirus developed by the University of Hong Kong to help contain the worldwide spread of the epidemic.
The rapid nucleic acid amplification tests technology, developed by a team of researchers from the university in January, can produce results in less than two hours. Free access to the university’s research data on the COVID-19 is also made available to laboratories around the world. Reagents for the test have also been provided freely to laboratories.
