With an aim to promote reading to locals, the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport has organised a three-day book fair at the Institute of Technology Cambodia in conjunction with the 5th National Reading Day that will be happening on March 11.

The theme for the reading day this year is “Reading develops knowledge, research skills and innovation”.

Over a hundred  booths were neatly arranged at the ground floor of the institute from Friday to Sunday last week, with  operating  hours from 8am to 7pm.

With efforts of the education ministry and non-profit organisations as partners, the event turned out to be a great success  with thousands of students and general people. In addition to the discount price of books from 20% to 80%, the visitors also had the opportunity  to watch a concert by volunteer singers.
