Cambodian people told to stay calm and maintain good hygiene

Prime Minister Hun Sen today reiterated his call for all in the Kingdom to remain calm and continue with good hygiene practices to prevent possible infection of Covid-19.


“Our country’s goal along with the other countries in the world is to combat Covid-19,” he said. “Let us all work together to prevent the virus from spreading in our country.”

He thanked the people for not diseminating fakes news.

“Phnom Penh administration has observed in the past two days, people living in the city are stocking up on food and household items. Some shop owners are taking advantage of this and raising the price of essentials goods which we do not condone. We have enough food for the whole country,” city hall said in a statement today.
