Japanese Embassy in the Kingdom celebrates National Day

Japanese Embassy in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, celebrated the first anniversary  of the new Emperor of Japan, last Thursday at the Japanese Embassy.

Delivering his speeches at the celebration, H.E  Mikami Masahiro, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Kingdom of Cambodia, said that last year His Majesty the new Emperor Naruhito ascended the throne, and the new imperial era “Reiwa”, began.

The ceremony also featured that within a new era of “Reiwa”, Japan is determined to make every effort to further strengthen this bilateral relationship that was built upon the trust and cooperation since the previous reign of “Heisei” (lasted about 31-year).
