Phnom Penh capital will have another large international hospital, whose construction is invested by the Royal Cambodia Hospital Co., Ltd.

The construction project, with an investment capital of US$478 million, has been recently approved by the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), according to the council’s press release issued yesterday.

Located in Sangkat Choeung Ek, Khan Dangkor, the 1,500-bed hospital will create approximately 1,500 jobs for the locals, once the construction is complete.

At the same time, the CDC approved seven other investment projects with a total capital of US$224.3 million, generating 4,225 jobs.

Located in Phnom Penh and in the provinces of Siem Reap and Kampong Speu, the new approved projects cover the creation of a supermarket, an integrated service resort, the production of various tools, drinking water, bags, clothing, and so on.
