Phnom Penh last Thursday hosted an opening ceremony for the Cambodian Youth Arts Festival Sixth Edition at the Capital’s renowned center, Chaktomuk Conference Hall.
The festival is a national level competition platform for young art students from all the provinces across the country.
The opening day was presided by Dr. Phoeurng Sackona, Minister of Culture and Fine Arts.
Hundreds of guests including students from the Royal University of Fine Arts have gathered in the hall to witness the progress of local arts.
The first day of festival has brought many amazing performances presented by the professional artists from the ministry.
The art performances are happening every day until the end of February, with a free entry.
