It was a cheerful night at Meta house last Wednesday, 29th, as Leang Seckon, one of Cambodia’s Contemporary Artist put on display his solo exhibition with 7 paintings, 2 installations, 5 original songs, and his dance performance.
All of the art works are under the theme of “Growing Wings” meaning that the wings refers to broad educations, culture sharing, freedom, knowledge and open-minded.
Every of the paintings are interrelated to the 5 songs he created. This concept of artwork was done following his previous work called “Hell On Earth” featuring the period when Khmer Rouge dominated the kingdom.

A display which was also showed at the exhibition is the custom designed piece with the theme “The Buffalo Boy King Growing Wing”, which reflected his personal life and what he has gone through before becoming a person he is today.
The exhibition will be held and open to the public for a month from 30th January to 30th February 2020 at 9am-11pm.
