On Friday evening, a selected number of fortunate invitees and Khmer food lovers, converged on Vattanac Capital Tower’s Rosewood Hotel to celebrate the first launching of Chef’s Nak 12 best recipes from her remarkable Khmer culinary book- Nhum. This was launched in tandem with the talented Rosewood Phnom Penh’s team to include the twelve menus in the Brasserie Louis restaurant of this upmarket hotel. By inserting the twelve Khmer cuisines in the Brasserie Louis’s menu, Chef Nak is committed to bring back Cambodia’s forgotten culinary cuisines to the fore. Presenting traditional dishes lie fish curry, duck sour soup to Khmer steamed fish with Vegetables and 10 other recipes, all the twelve dishes displayed, in food, an authentic story and its unique tastes. “The food we eat is important and it has a significant role in telling the world who you are and where you come from. The cuisines we make and eat are our identity which we should give more value and proud to talk about,” said Chef Nak.
