Cambodian real estate mogul Okhna Sear Rithy will be the guest of honour and deliver opening remarks at the Realestate.com.kh Expo 2019 on October 4 at Phnom Penh’s NagaWorld.

Rithy is a renowned property developer with years of experience, who has contributed much to the rapidly changing landscape of the Kingdom’s capital. He is the chairman of Worldbridge Group, a major player behind projects such as The Bridge, The Peak and the Shangri-La Hotel.

Rithy believes both potential buyers and investors will benefit from the event. He said that buyers will get a chance to view many projects at one time, while potential investors will get a taste of Cambodia’s real estate market.

“The property expo offers visitors the chance to see a large variety of opportunities in one location. For those considering making an investment, this is an excellent opportunity to survey the market and find good deals,” he said.

Tom O’Sullivan, CEO of Realestate.com.kh, also reflected on the huge benefits buyers can get from the expo.

“If you’re looking to buy property this year, coming to the expo is a no-brainer. All the biggest developers, boreys and condos will all be in the same room,” he said, “They will be competing to offer the best discounts they can for buyers.”

O’Sullivan added that there will be a full schedule of expert-led seminars that will serve to give insight to buyers, investors, and anyone who wants to know more about the industry.

“We really think that seminars are a way to educate the market and, in general, act as a trusted resource for our site’s visitors.”

The day is sure to be full of riveting discussions about tons of different topics. Catherine Chan, executive director of the blockbuster Urban Village project, will be speaking about the differing demands of foreign and local condo buyers.

“Foreigners put more emphasis on the living environment, but practical conditions and price range are the top factors for local buyers,” Chan said.

LukFook Jewellery supplies prizes for the expo

Several of the biggest names in Cambodia tech, hospitality and, of course, real estate have signed on to sponsor the show. LukFook Jewellery has even agreed to offer up luxury prizes to those who buy property at the expo.

There will be 24 prizes worth over $200 each that will be instantly given to buyers. What’s more, anyone who purchases real estate will be entered into a lucky draw for the two grand prizes: a Doxa men’s watch worth over $2,800 and a Piaget Women’s diamond watch worth $1,850.

The landmark event is free to attend and will be taking place at NagaWorld 1 on October 4 and 5. Signup for express entry is open now at Realestate.com.kh.
