Two Indian men were arrested on Tuesday in the border city of Bavet for allegedly cheating the Titan King Casino out of more than $3 million, according to Svay Rieng provincial police yesterday.

Deputy provincial police chief Khieu Sokhom said the arrest was made after a complaint from the casino owner.

“We arrested the two Indian men at Titan King Casino after a complaint from the casino accusing them of fraud,” he said, adding that he could not remember the amount the men allegedly cheated from the casino.

The two Indian men were identified as Panchal Sunil Mukeshkumar, 37, and Shah Manthan Jaymishkumar, 29. The National Police website reported that within five months from April 18 until Tuesday, the duo cheated the casino $3,699,731.

Mr. Sokhom could not verify if the men were staff at the casino, but said the amount of money included wages and other benefits of workers at the casino.
