TERRACE House is back and this time the show goes back to its roots in Tokyo, hence the title Terrace House: Tokyo 2019-2020.

Over the last few years, Terrace House has garnered its own fan base with five hit series and one theatrical film.

The show follows the lives of six strangers, with three men and three women from different walks of life who come together to live under the same roof, and get to know one another throughout the show period.

Each season of the series would see one or two people leave the house and who would be replaced by a new member who joins the house.

Six commentators offering their best and humorous thoughts happens to be one of the best offerings of Terrace House as well.

Terrace House: Tokyo 2019-2020 sees six new members.

Kaori Watanabe, Haruka Okuyama and Risako Tanabe make up the female cast while Shohei Matsuzaki, Kenji Yoshihara and Ruka Nishinoiri make up the male members of the house.

Ruka and Risako (see below) hit it off earlier compared to other members of the House, leading audiences to wonder if there is something more to expect throughout the show.

Risako Tanabe

The fitness trainer and parkour enthusiast joins Terrace House for romance and hopes to find someone special during her time in the house. She gets close to Ruka, where audiences are bound to see more kawaii (loveable) moments including both of them throughout the first part of the show.

Terrace House: Tokyo 2019-2020 is off to a great start in terms of unscripted content as the personalities of the cast members this time vary from previous shows.
