Prime Minister Hun Sen today cautioned that a former opposition member will face arrest if he keeps insulting him and Interior Minister Sar Kheng.

Speaking during an inspection of the construction site at Morodok Techo National Stadium in Phnom Penh’s Chroy Changva district today, Mr Hun Sen said that a Facebook account named Sou Sam Yuth has insulted him and Mr Kheng by using derogatory remarks.

“It is a Facebook account named Sou Sam Yuth and his real name is Mr Khorn, you must remember that you have insulted Samdech Kralahom [Mr Kheng] and me,” he said. “Please be careful. I just warn you, please stop insulting Sar Kheng and me.”

“You must remember that you are one of the118 members [barred from politics] and if you are challenging to be handcuffed, please go ahead,” he said.

118 former senior CNRP members have been banned from politics for five years by the Supreme Court in November 2017 when it dissolved the party.
