A notice in the event’s Facebook page announced that it will be held March 26-28 next year at the Diamond Island Exhibition & Convention Centre.

The event was originally scheduled to run from July 11 to 13 this year.

The notice did not cite the reason for the postponement. Khmer Times tried to reach the event organisers, but did not receive a response before presstime.

The event will showcase the latest advancements and technologies in the ICT world, with a wide range of ICT products on display, including smart home technology.

These products target key industries in the Kingdom, including hospitality, automotive, real estate, transport, logistics, media, banking and garment manufacturing.

Some of the biggest players in Cambodia’s ICT sector are expected to participate, including Huawei, Smart Axiata, Metfone, Ezecom and Opennet.

Many tech startups are also expected to turn up and showcase their wares.

The event will provide attendees the opportunity to network and meet with ICT industry leaders.

In addition to the exhibits, the gathering will also feature panel discussions on critical ICT issues.

It is expected to draw several thousand attendees from Cambodia and outside. More than 100 tech companies and startups joined the 2018 ICT Expo.

The event is being organised by Twin Goat Exhibition & Trading with support from the ministries of Commerce, Posts and Telecommunications, and the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce.

Cambodia’s business-friendly environment has fostered a growing ICT industry, with the government seeking to turn Cambodia into a digital economy in the next few years.
