Phnom Penh: On Thursday, April 11, 2019, The Minister of Commerce H.E. Pan Sorasak announced to restrict heavy alcohol advertising on winning prize or untruth in order to minimize the adverse effects that come with alcohol advertising in Cambodia, especially youth during the meeting at the Peace Palace about “The Impact of Alcohol Advertising in Cambodia”.
After receiving the announcement of the Ministry of Commerce regarding such plan restricting on alcohol advertising, Ms. Tak Pisith Rathlida, Executive Chairwoman of VR Event Planner Co., Ltd, a leading event planning and advertising company, said: “Apparently, I’ve already announced once during VR Event Planner’s grand opening that VR Event Planner is the very first agency which services non-alcohol and tobacco related event and advertising in Cambodia.
