Phnom Penh, Cambodia — Monday, the 6th of May, 2019, will be the groundbreaking ceremony for One Central Tower. With an initial investment of 200m USD, One Central Tower will be the starting point of a multi-phase development project that will transform the Boeung Senor area into a world-class urban destination integrating commercial offices, retail, hospitality, residential and green open spaces within the 24,000 square meter space.
Situated on the banks of the Mekong River, One Central Tower will take two and a half years, to complete in 2022, while the remaining phases aim to be complete thereafter. The landmark development will become a new financial hub for the city. One Central Tower will comprise of five tower buildings, starting with the 38 floor luxury residential condominium and 22 floor office building.
The concept is to create an oasis-like central open space with extensive greenery and water features surrounded by residential towers positioned in a radial fan shape. Unobstructed city and river views are maximized from the condominium units as well as to the central court. These residential towers also provide a backdrop for a mid-rise office tower slated to become the future corporate headquarters for B.I.C Group.
Developed by B.I.C Group, One Central Tower is their first real estate project in Phnom Penh. “We want to help transform Phnom Penh by developing a world-class district that is able to attract top-level companies and residents,” Yim Leak said, Chairman of B.I.C Group. “We are at the early stages of a long-term plan to grow B.I.C Group to new heights, contributing to the Cambodian economy, services and jobs growth.”
