With its best efforts to be the centre of academic excellence in the Kingdom, Singapore (Cambodia) International Academy has always endeavoured to create programmes and activities that do not just unleash the students’ potential, but also push them to go beyond their limits.
SCIA also acknowledges the importance of maintaining a fun environment to stimulate the students’ creativity and enthusiasm towards learning.
To create fun and meaningful learning experiences for students and their families, this Sunday on 28 April, SCIA has in store activities for students from pre-school to senior high school levels. The Pre-School Open House will highlight the school’s programme offerings on literacy development for young children. Event highlights include introduction to phonics, storytelling and cooking classes.
SCIA will celebrate Earth Day 2019 with a series of activities for parents and children to gain awareness and learn how to contribute towards a more sustainable environment. SCIA will showcase and share tips on how to reuse, reduce and recycle household materials through activities such as creating bottle cap murals, recycled bottle planters and recycled paper crafts. Visitors will also be treated to a showcase of DIY bio-filters and ecobricks, part of SCIA’s student projects.
On 1 May, Wednesday, SCIA will once again open its premises to all interested parents and students. They will discover the fun that goes with learning at SCIA’s pre-school to high school programmes. SCIA will introduce its education philosophy, curriculum and facilities, in a bid to invite more parents and students to join the growing SCIA family. Visitors will have opportunities to network with other parents, speak with the school leaders, educators and students to gain first-hand insights into their journeys!
