With Cambodia’s Under-23s ending their participation in the AFC Under-23 Group H stage, the Metfone C-League – the kingdom’s premier domestic football competition – returns for its second weekend of action.
National Police and Asia Euro United get the action underway tomorrow afternoon and with both losing their opening day matches there is sure to be fireworks. Also tomorrow, Visakha host top of the table Kirivong Sok Sen Chey while league champions NagaWorld make the trip to Old Stadium to meet Ministry of National Defense for an evening encounter.
Naga keeper Sou Yaty stated that training at Naga was a step above his previous clubs.
“At (Naga) training is even more than in the past about 30% more, Yaty told reporters. Because [players] have to go to the gym for 45 minutes or half an hour. Technically, we train regularly and work on physical speed as well as acting quickly.”
