All 47 Malaysians who were freed after 65 days of being detained in Banteay Meanchey provincial prison are expected to fly out by tomorrow morning at the earliest.

It was reliably learned that the Malaysian Foreign Ministry officials are in communication with the Ministry of Transport Malaysia and AirAsia to find a quick solution to the availability of seats to enable the detainees to fly home.

As of 8 am, Malaysian Embassy consular officers were preparing the relevant documentations to provide emergency travel documents to 9 of the detainees whose passports could not be recovered.

It was also unclear how the passports of 38 of the detainees were recovered or from whom and when.
