Hun Sinath, a sibling of Prime Minister Hun Sen, has called on Kampot Provincial Court prosecutors to take action against Po Neap, a woman who allegedly used her other brother’s name, Hun San, to win land from villagers in 2005.

Ms Sinath said on Facebook that in June and October 2005, Ms Neap forged her brother’s name in the letters and sent them to the Supreme Court in order to win a land dispute with the residents of Toek Chhou district’s Kompong Kreng commune.

“My brother completely denies the letters because they did not bear his signature,” Ms Sinath said. “We request the prosecutor to take action against the person who forged his signature, and please help the people who were victimised by Ms Neap’s activity.”

In a letter obtained by Khmer Times yesterday, Mr Han denies that he issued the letters used in court.

“I completely deny all of the letters that involved my name,” he said in the letter, signed on Monday.
