Sandara opens outlets in AEON Mall Sen Sok City for newly acquired retail brands Pandora and Bering

December 6, 2018. Phnom Penh, Cambodia  Sandara Industry and Development Company Ltd opens its newest stores in AEON Mall Sen Sok City, offering Pandora and Bering products. Pandora is the world’s largest jewellery brand, and Bering Timepieces is one of the most successful brand in China.

Sandara, the joint venture between Negocia Ventures and Canadia Group, acquired the distribution franchise for Pandora and Bering in August. Its “… objective is to provide affordable luxury products to Cambodia’s growing middle class. They work hard and deserve to have access to the same quality products as you can find in more than 100 countries worldwide,” as Sandara’s CEO Thierry Tea explained.

Brand Manager John Lim recognizes that “The retail market in Cambodia is highly competitive … Cambodian are famous for shopping during their travels … If we are able to improve the standard of service in the country, it will become more convenient, more practical and cheaper to shop in Cambodia for the products our clients are looking for.”

Pandora designs, manufactures and markets hand-finished and contemporary jewellery made from high-quality materials at affordable prices that is sold in more than 100 countries on six continents.
Pandora was founded in 1982 in Copenhagen, Denmark. It employs more than 27,700 people worldwide, half of them in Thailand, where the jewellery is made. It is listed on Nasdaq Copenhagen and, in 2017, had total revenue of $3.5 billion.

The Bering watch collection is inspired by the beauty of the Arctic and is characterised by clear, streamlined forms and Danish minimalistic design, purchasable at an attractive and competitive price in 50 countries worldwide..

The company designs, produces and distributes high-end watches and jewellery made of high-quality and durable materials, like high-tech ceramic, sapphire glass and titanium.

Founded in 2010 in Denmark, Bering achieved international sales of more than $350 million between 2015 and 2017.
