Huawei Cloud: Building a Fully– connected, Intelligent Cambodia

No Comments Share:

“Huawei has been a driving force in Cambodia’s Information and Communication Technology development for almost 20 years.” says David Li, CEO of Huawei Technologies Cambodia.

“Every step of the way we partner with major carriers to help provide high-quality, cost-effective telecom services and chart the path from 2G to 3G to 4G, and now 4.5G.” he continues. “In addition, we work with the government and private sectors to accelerate digital transformation and work directly with consumers to enable a digital generation with leading smart phones, tablets and laptops.”

“We foresee that enabled by ICT and AI, the fourth industrial revolution will take connectivity to the next level, leading society into an intelligent world where everything senses, everything is connected, and everything is smart.” he said. “Cloud services are available on-demand and often bought on a “pay-as-you go” or subscription basis meaning you typically buy cloud computing the same way you’d buy electricity, water, or telephone services. Just like electricity, you can buy as much or as little of a cloud computing service as you need from one day to the next. That’s appropriate if your needs vary unpredictably, and it helps to optimize your overall investment.”

Driven by digital transformation and customer needs for quick service deployment, elastic services, and intelligent management, all companies are expected to connect to cloud services by 2025, and 85% of enterprise applications will be deployed on the cloud, thus Cloud services will penetrate into business operations just as the Internet does today. Cloud services are a catalyst for digital transformation and they enable enterprises to focus on business problem solving rather than technologies, cost, and efficiency.

“Under these circumstances, Huawei’s vision and mission are clear: We will bring digital to every person, home and organization for a fully connected, intelligent world. HUAWEI CLOUD provides a powerful computing platform and easy-to-use development platform to support Huawei’s full-stack, all-scenario AI strategy, so that everyone can take advantage of Cloud benefits.” David says.

Huawei is committed to building open hybrid architectures with partners and providing solutions including hardware, software, and services to better work with enterprise applications. It helps enterprises realize resource-sharing across clouds, on-demand flow of data, and seamless migration of applications by providing a unified architecture, APIs, ecosystems, services, and user experience between public cloud and private cloud.

David emphasized, “2018 is a remarkable milestone for HUAWEI CLOUD. We officially launched Public Cloud in Asia Pacific Region. HUAWEI CLOUD will bring more convenience to the lives of individuals, families and organizations for Cambodia. Working together with our local partners, we provide the best-in-class cloud computing technology.”

“We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to our customers and partners for their support. Together with Cambodians, we have witnessed the progress of society and the development of science and technology.” he concludes.
