Himawari Microbrewery turns 6

Himawari Microbrewery celebrated its 6th anniversary on Saturday, November 17, with a beer appreciation workshop, where tens of aficionados gathered to sample six of its finest craft beers.

For the price of $5, the guests were treated to a night of sampling the Bassac, Mekong Zest, Apsara Gold, Gem and Jade, CentenniALE and Oats beers with endless supplies of edamame and other finger food on the side.

Himawari Hotel director Andrew Tay also handed out five craft beer vouchers to five lucky guests.

Aside from beer and food, the event was also filled with laughter and good talk among foreigners and locals.

For just $5, everyone had a taste of the best craft beers of Himawari.
