Ambassador’s Golf Cup wraps up ninth edition

The 9th edition of the Malaysian Ambassador’s Cup Golf Tournament wrapped up on Saturday at Garden City Hotel & Golf Resort, Phnom Penh’s award-winning Golf club.

The annual tournament was moved in 2016 to Garden City from Grand International Phnom Penh course. Earlier this year, Garden City beat out the likes of Angkor Golf Resort, Cambodia Golf & Country Club, and Phokeethra Country Club to be crowned winner of Cambodia’s Best Golf Course of 2018 by the World Golf Awards.

Ingo Karsten, German Ambassador to the Kingdom of Cambodia, and Ambassador of Pakistan Amjad Ali Sher were among the many notable ambassador’s to return for the annual event. The Embassy also held a Family Day Event in the grounds of the club it dubbed GLAM Night ‘18. The Family Day was attended by Home-based Staff (HBS) and Locally Recruited Staff (LRS) of the Embassy. Guests had the opportunity to play games, spend time with family members, and bond with colleagues.
